The organisers have decided to shorten the course this year because (a) construction works are taking place at the Hilton Pier (opposite Canary Wharf) which makes it hazardous to continue upriver past them, and (b) the weather forecast is currently for temperatures of 5° Celsius with an easterly wind and we’re mindful of not keeping crews out in cold weather for longer than necessary.

 

The start line will be a short distance downstream of Hilton Pier and the finish, as usual, will be at PBDRC Clubhouse. The race will be approximately 3.2km long.
