Poplar Rowing Club Dinner & Dance – Raising the Roof

As the year draws to a close, we gathered together on December 6th in a beautifully decorated clubhouse to celebrate another successful year of rowing at Poplar. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community, share stories, and celebrate the spirit of our club.

Club Captain Ben gave a wonderful speech, touching on the incredible history of the club, highlighting the year’s successes and presenting our annual awards. A huge congratulations to this year’s winners:

Raising the Roof (Literally!) To raise essential funds for our clubhouse roof repairs, Simon organised a fantastic raffle with prizes generously donated by members. He also led an exciting auction for race sponsorships at next year’s prestigious Poplar Regatta.
