Molesey – Race Report: Two wins for Poplar

Great racing at Molesey today. Superb wins for the Open 4+ and the W 4x – nine athletes coming home with medals.

Joelle had a strong row but suffered an 18 second(!) masters handicap which proved too much to overcome.

Joseph L just lost out by 3 feet after a fantastic row.

Joseph C put in a good performance just losing out in his single race.

Ed and Charles had a good scull in their masters double, having had to give away 6 seconds on the start, but couldn’t quite make up the time.

And Tommy and Ben put in a creditable performance in their double, the first ever sculling race for Tommy, with many wins to come in the future.

Really proud of everyone who raced today and represented the club so well.
