Poplar Rowers shine at Pairs Head 2024

Yesterday, Poplar Rowing Club made a strong showing at the prestigious Pairs Head race in west London. Among the 362 crews competing, Poplar had six teams representing the club.

The squad has been dedicated to their training over the past few weeks, and their hard work paid off. Every rower should be commended for their dedication and for representing Poplar with pride.

• Op MasB 2x (Ben & Tommy): Gold medal 🥇
• Op MasF 2x (Bob & Ralph): 5th place
• W MasB 2x (Eleanor & Amy): 3rd place
• W 2x Club (Taran & Charlotte): 7th place
• Mx MasF/G (Paddy & Vicky): 6th place
• Op 2x Club (Charles & Joseph): DNF (snapped blade)
