Race Results from April to July

Some of our members have been busy over the last few months competing in various events across the country. An overview of these races are below:

Henley Masters Regatta – July 2017

Bob Milligan was narrowly beaten in the Vet G final.Ralph Humpreys and his partner were also narrowly beaten in the Vet B final.

Henley Womens Regatta – June 2017

Andrea Stock qualified for the heats but was beaten by a very fast oppenent.

Nottingham Regatta – May 2017

Congratulations to Phoebe O’Hene, Bev Reid, Andrea Stock and Miggs who all won their individual sculling events at Nottingham.

Marlow Regatta – May 2017

Well done to Bev Reid who won IM3 at Marlow Regatta

Inter Regional Regatta – Nottingham April 2017

Well done to Joe Thompson and Euan Sloan who in a Poplar/Globe composire represented the SouthEast of England in the Regional Finals. In a closely contested final they finished fourth with just a few seconds between all crews.

Bedford Head – April 2017

Well done to all the Poplar scullers who competed at Bedford. We had wins from Nathan Evans, Andrea Stock in their single events and John Dwan and Bev Reid ibn doubles. Jow Thompson finished second in the J16 sculling.
